Can anyone give me some MLG Black Ops tips?

Hey I was thinking about getting into some MLG with my clan and I was wondering if anyone could give me tips (like tell me which guns are best in which situation etc.). Specifically I would like tips for Domination and Search and Destroy as in those game modes I'm not very good :/
